Tennant Creek

  • Purkiss Reserve
  • Performance from 5pm
  • Fireworks from 6.50pm
  • FREE

In an incredible collaboration, 15 musicians from across the Barkly Region will duel it out on stage this Territory Day.

The ‘Elliott Sandhill Women’ will duel with Gambirra; the ‘Barkly Drifters’ will duel with Radical Son; and Declan Kelly will duel with two rising talents from Tennant Creek.

Each artist will be performing works of their own as well as coming together to create their own twist on well known Indigenous tracks.

Watch a game of footy, then grab a picnic rug and take in the music whilst the sun sets over our beautiful desert land to reveal the star studded sky for a firework finale.

The Tennant Creek Territory Day celebrations are proudly brought to you by the Northern Territory Government in association with Barkly Regional Arts and Barkly Regional Council.

No alcohol or personal fireworks permitted.

This event will be filmed and photographed. Please ensure you read the Conditions of Entry.
